Vintage Peddler
With a thirst for a good milkshake and an appreciation of Vintage Bikes, one is never enough for CHILL Studio director Stu Waddel. He’s been riding a 1970’s Raleigh since Adam was a cowboy but he picked up the Vintage bug and now has 16 bikes and a side business allowing people to enjoy pedalling the Christchurch in style. The Vintage Peddler is Christchurch’s home to vintage bikes and a favourite with locals and tourists alike.
The bikes of yesteryear are now lovingly restored then placed in the showroom, but before all this we had to become a client of ourselves. First came the stencil bike logo and a dle distributed at hotel and hostels around the city. The logo also donned our street front sign and widely admired sign written Morrie Van.
Apart from the bikes themselves, the Vintage Peddler’s pride and joy is their website. It’s a clean and seemingly simple site that’s also fun and interactive. Each bike has a name and a story to complement a series of pictures as well as booking functionality.
